The Annapolis Community Foundation (ACF) is a nonprofit organization founded by concerned citizens in 2002 to improve the lives of the people of Annapolis and to offer them the opportunity to take full advantage of the benefits found in our capital city. Our objective is to facilitate philanthropy and help Annapolitans achieve their charitable giving goals.ACF is one of 11 community foundations in the state of Maryland and one of more than 600 foundations in the United States dedicated to helping people at the local level. ACF has awarded 20 grants since its inception and is serving as custodian for several dedicated funds. This website contains information on past grants, explains the applicaiton process and provides application forms.
Our Mission
The Annapolis Community Foundation provides resources to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the Annapolis community. Its role is to be a leader and resource for philanthropy in Annapolis by anticipating and responding to community needs, supporting a broad range of programs and projects, building and managing permanent endowments, and granting funds.
